Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or opt for a visit to the Giraffe Centre or the Karen Blixen Museum. In the evening, enjoy a comprehensive safari briefing over dinner as you prepare for the adventure of a lifetime.

After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive through the lush Kenyan highlands. You’ll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a breathtaking panorama of the escarpment before descending to Lake Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage site. Keep your eyes peeled for the endangered White and Black Rhinos, the rare Rothschild Giraffe, and the thousands of flamingos that often turn the lakeshore pink.

Travel across the floor of the Rift Valley to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Spend a full day exploring the Mara’s diverse habitats, from riverine forests to open grasslands. After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for the Isebania border. After clearing customs and immigration, you will bid farewell to your Kenyan guide and join your Tanzanian guide in a 4x4 Land Cruiser. Enter the Serengeti through the North or West, enjoying an en-route game drive as you head to your camp. The transition from the Mara to the Serengeti offers a fascinating look at the scale of this vast ecosystem.

You have two full days to immerse yourself in the Serengeti, a park so vast its name means "Endless Plains" in the Maasai language. Explore the Seronera Valley, famous for its "kopjes" (rocky outcrops) where leopards and lions often lounge. Your guide will tailor the drives to follow the movement of the Great Migration herds. Between drives, enjoy the atmosphere of your tented camp, listening to the sounds of the African bush at night.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue to the lush, green highlands of Ngorongoro for a relaxing evening and cooler temperatures.

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a 6-hour safari. This collapsed caldera is a self-contained ecosystem where you can spot the "Big Five" in a single morning. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor near the hippo pool, ascend and drive to Tarangire National Park. Known as the "Elephant Empire," Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees and massive elephant herds.

Conclude your safari with a final morning game drive in Tarangire. This park offers a rugged, quiet atmosphere compared to the more famous parks. After lunch at the lodge, drive to Arusha.
