The 4-day “Comfort” Safari is our most popular mid-range option for wildlife enthusiasts. By adding an extra day to the standard Mara trip, you gain the luxury of time. This allows for deeper exploration into the remote corners of the reserve where the big cats hide, and more relaxed mornings at the beautiful Mara Sopa Lodge. Experience the “Big Five” and the rolling savannahs of the Great Rift Valley at a pace that lets you truly connect with the wild.

Day 1 :

Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Your journey begins at 7:00 AM with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel. Drive through the lush Kenyan highlands before descending the escarpment into the Great Rift Valley for a photo stop. Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge for lunch and a brief rest. In the late afternoon, head out for your first introductory game drive in search of lions and elephants.

Day 2 :

Full Day in Maasai Mara

Wake up to the sounds of the African bush. After a relaxed breakfast, spend the morning tracking the Big Five. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and a siesta by the pool before heading out for an evening game drive when the predators become more active.

Day 3 :

Deep Mara Exploration

Today is about reaching the furthest points of the reserve. You will depart with a packed picnic lunch to spend the entire day in the wild. Visit the Mara River, the site of the dramatic migration crossings. Enjoy your lunch under an acacia tree surrounded by the vast plains.

Day 4 :

Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After a final hearty breakfast, check out and enjoy a last en-route game drive as you head toward the exit. Drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel, residence, or the airport for your onward flight.
