Nairobi National Park & DSWT Elephant orphanage Tour

This magnificent Nairobi excursion tour takes you to some of  the major attractions in the city; It begins with a 4 hours morning game drive at Nairobi National Park which is located approximately 7 kilometers south of the center of Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city, with only a fence separating the park’s wildlife from the metropolis. Nairobi’s skyscrapers can be seen from the park. Visit the DSWT Elephant orphanage- learn more about the baby elephants and what led them to be orphans. You will get more information on raising them and the efforts being made to re-introduce them back to the wilderness.

DETAILED ITINERARY

 

Early morning 6Am pick at your hotel/residence then then proceed to Nairobi National park through the main gate for your morning game drive. Your guide will be aiming to show you as much variety of animals as possible. If you’re lucky, you may spot the rhinos and lions getting ready for the day. Enjoy a 3 hours morning game drive at Nairobi National Park which is located approximately 7 kilometers south of the center of Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city, with only a fence separating the park’s wildlife from the metropolis. Nairobi’s skyscrapers can be seen from the park.

At 10:30 am you will leave for the elephant orphanage which is only open for a short period each day from 11:00 am to 12:00. Here you will learn more about the baby elephants and what led them to be orphans. You will get more information on raising them and the efforts being made to re-introduce them back to the wilderness.

After your tour at the elephant orphanage, you will have about an hour for lunch (own expense), then you will be dropped off at your hotel.
